Ayaz' Home Page

Hey, I'm Ayaz (pronounced with s). Sometimes my friend also call me Ayaze. I was born in Bontang, Indonesia, and have spent most of my life there. Previously, I studied Computer Science in Universitas Indonesia during my undergraduate years, and worked as a software engineer in Shopee Singapore under Item Price Stock team. As for now, I am currently a graduate student studying Computer Science in the National University of Singapore. I am interested in studying the field of distributed system, distributed algorithms, and graph algorithms. Right now, I focused on problems related to byzantine agreement.

During my high school and undergraduate years, I was an active competitive programmer under the handle of azure97 or ayaze. While I am not active anymore, I still like to write CP problems. If you compete in ICPC Jakarta in recent years, probably you already see some problems I wrote :P Note that while I like to write CP problems, I am usually too lazy to start writing one :")

In my free time, I usually read manga or novel. I also like to play games, mostly in the genres of metroidvania and JRPG. I sometimes play strategy games, though I definitely suck at them. Apart from that, I also loves to take a walk in the nature, in which I felt happy that Singapore have a lot of nature parks which are easily accessible.
